Lodging and Facilities

We will be staying in a family-operated 4-star hotel in Cesenatico, Hotel Sirena. Hotel Sirena opened its doors in 1956 as a small pension and café, and has evolved throughout the years into a renowned 4-star hotel, whose special emphasis resides in service and outstanding food. The third generation of the family is currently involved in the business, while Grandma Fernanda still oversees operations in the kitchen. You will be welcomed as a family member, and you will enjoy the warmth of a real Italian family!

The kitchen at Hotel Sirena has always been renowned for its high quality and its conformity to the traditions of Romagna. The restaurant business has grown so rapidly and has reached such high demand in the past ten years that it has expanded to include a catering business, Catering Delfino, which just recently set up operations at Villa Delle Rose, five miles from the hotel, where most of our cooking classes will be held.

Villa Delle Rose is a gorgeous traditional farm house that has been completely renovated and stands in a beautiful 2.5 acre park that used to showcase 10,000 wild rose bushes- hence the name. The DellaPasquas, who own and operate Hotel Sirena, run Il Delfino Catering based at Villa Delle Rose. You will be benefiting from 50 years of restaurant business experience to learn about the culinary beauty of this little-known, but widely appreciated Italian region.

Your cooking school and culinary tour package includes all taxes and fees, and also:

• All Land Transportation during the trip (except for Saturday optional activities)
• 7 Nights at the four star Hotel Sirena in Cesenatico, Italy, double occupancy (Single occupancy available for an additional 15 Euros/night)
• 7 Buffet Breakfasts
• 5 Lunches and 5 Dinners with Wine (Day 4 meals not included)
• 3 Cooking School Sessions at Villa delle Rose in Cesenatico
• One Cooking Class at Il Vecchio Convento
• An Italian to English translator as well as a full time guide for all programed activities
